Sailing towards the Golden Shore, climbing ten thousand Himalayas, the ancient Vedic way....

Rugby World Cup 2007 is here!

Not many people are interested in rugby, I know. And I am not what you'd call a sport buff. My only cherished physical activity was rowing, which I did to my great delight. I stopped when I started attending the Polytechnic in a city where the only waters worth rowing on belonged to an airport.

Rydal Mount in Lake District

Rydal Mount in Lake District

Recently, we were in the Lake District. This picture is from a spot near Rydal Lake. The Seer-Nature-Poet, William Wordsworth lived nearby, in Rydal Mount, for several years. From his house, he had an uninterupted view of scenery such as this.

A sweet recollection of Sri Chinmoy's thoughtfulness, by Kanan Roberts

We recorded this story with Kanan for Conversation-Hearts. Alas, it was too short for that show, so I am able to publish it here:

A sweet remembrance of Sri Chinmoy's loving thoughtfulness offering a rose.

A song immortal by Sri Chinmoy

Sri Chinmoy has composed literally thousands of songs. Each one of us has his favourites, and Jago Amar Swapan Sathi is one of my absolute favourites.

As somebody very close to the song said, Jago Amar Swapan Sathi is an immortal song... a diamond.

Happy Birthday

Today spiritual seekers all the world over celebrate Sri Chinmoy's 76th birthday.

It is so difficult to word gratitude.

Let's be wordless then, our hearts singing of blue silent skies, unhorizoned dreams, divine frienship, of smiling tears and most soulful smiles.
